A Study on Badenoch´s Pull-through Operation of Urethral Injuries and Traumatic Urethral Strictures

Abstract

|
Recently urethral injuries were much increased day by day, and urethral stricture is a common complication. But their treatments have depended upon indwelling of Foley catheter and symptomatic therapy has been performed. These troublesome problems have been important urological issues. We believed Badenoch´s pull-through operation was a choice of treatment of the urethral injuries and urethral strictures. We performed Badenoch´s pull-through operation on 2 urethral injuries and 3 urethral strictures and their results were good. So we report the method of Badenoch´s pull-through operation and their cases, which wcre discussed with literatures on treatment of urethral injuries and traumatic urethral strictures.
